WHO
WE ARE
The Women Leaders Association is a non-governmental organization with registry no. 787 in Beirut. It had begun operations in 2018 under the umbrella of the Chambers of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture in Beirut and Mount Lebanon before it became a separate entity.
The Association’s work is inspired by Lebanese women and their resilience and strives to involve them in various activities to consolidate their position in the national economy. WLA believes that Arab women can collaborate to open new channels, bridge business gaps, and create new opportunities that bring prosperity to their nations.
WLA’s latest achievement is the establishment of Jazzmin, an ethical platform for successful women entrepreneurs who banded together to invest in and launch an innovative idea that has never been done before: A department store whose tenants are women, is operated by women, and serves women. The unique concept is one of the most recent examples of how women can successfully team up and deliver the best outcome.
