Dr. Tania Kallab, a holder of a PhD in Economics from ESSEC Business School and MSc in Business Administration from ESSEC Business School as well as a master’s in research in economic analysis from Université Cergy-Pontoise. As an assistant professor at LAU and previously other national and international academic institutions such as ESSEC and ESCP Paris, she has an academic experience in teaching and research wherein she has been actively engaged in research, teaching and services. She is an active member of a number of business and economic associations and research centers. She continuously participates in local and international conferences, council meetings and high impact consultancy projects including for the Ministry of Economy and the Chamber of Trade, for the Rockefeller foundation 100 resilient cities project and by being keynote speaker in several panels. Her ongoing research lies in the fields of macroeconomics, institutional economics and resource economics.
