NGO

Marleine Daher is a social activist highly dedicated to providing welfare to the Bekaa community. In 2014, she co-founded Michel Daher Social Foundation, an NGO that works on four pillars: health, social, human and economic development, and sustainable community development and livelihood.
One of Marleine’s most significant passions is her dedication to preserving the environment, which led her to launch the Faker Bi2iyan initiative in 2019. Through this initiative, the team works tirelessly to raise awareness about environmental issues and promote sustainable practices to reduce the impact of human activities on the environment.
Marleine dedicates her time and energy to serving people and developing their skills to become productive citizens, rooted in their homeland and living with dignity. Some of her notable achievements are the Annual Collective Wedding, the Tech Academy, and Takallam center that provides speech therapy and psychosocial support to parents and children.
In addition, Marleine had an active role in developing and managing two healthcare centers that have a significant impact on the life of overburdened citizens.
Marleine holds a law degree, MBA, and CFA level II.
During her free time, she loves to go in hiking trips and to dive deep into books as she believes that books genuinely hold the power to widen her horizon and inspire her next steps.
Marleine lives in her hometown Ferzol with her Husband, MP Michel Daher. She has two sons, Georges and Mark, two daughters, Edwina and Perla, and five grandchildren.
